Two-day event to highlight the latest in agriculture
FLORENCE, S.C. — If it’s new and innovating in the world of agriculture, it likely can be found at the Florence Civic Center as the second annual S.C. AgriBiz and Farm Expo gets underway Thursday.
The theme, “Rooted in Tradition, Thriving Through Innovation,” sets the tone that it won’t be your average tractor show. More than 100 agricultural vendors are scheduled to participate.
Over the two-day event, there are a multitude of educational opportunities to take in for anyone and everyone having a vested or remote interest in agriculture. Chairman Jody Martin said agriculture involves so much and that he has heard interest from schools and Future Farmers of America organizations expecting to attend the event.
